Is there a fish market in Vallarta?

Where is the fish market in Vallarta or is there one? I would like to buy some fresh fish or shrimp while I am there. What are the tastiest kinds? What should I expect to pay?

A good place is the \"local\" market, the Emiliano Zapata mercardo. Located on Lazaro Cardenas Street...if you go to the Guadalajara Pharmacy in Old Town, head up (east) the street along side of it a few blocks you will come to a great market. Fruits, vegetables, meat and fish. A great experience in an interesting location. Also \"kiddy-corner\" from the G. Rizos grocery store. Go early!
