Is PV as crowded or busy as usual?

I was just wondering what the tourist situation was like in PV. Has the recent events in the US, and around the world made more people stay home then go away on vacation?
In simple terms:
do any of you notice a difference, from last year to this year?

Hola from PV! September and October were extremely slow - as is the \"norm\". I seem to notice more people in the streets (tourists) the past couple of weeks or so - so hopefully things will be ok! They say the flights are coming in full, a good sign.

Just back from the MELIA at the marina
17 Nov - 1 Dec.
Over the Mexican holiday weekend there were 1000 people at the Melia.
On 1 Dec they were expecting over 800.
When I get my photos developed I will post them,and a trip report.
