Been to Mazatlan twice, Pv eight times on the last eight years. Mazatlan was ok very flat no mountains nearby. We went there because we got super deals on air and accom. Puerto Vallarta is by far much nicer and I think overall cheaper. We found that Mazatlan was a little more expensive to eat than PV.Nice beaches in Mazatlan much like those in Nuevo .Found the time shares more annoying in Mazatlan compared to PV.
