ID Verification for Minors

About to make 4th visit to PV. This, however, will be the first with minor children. Am really looking forward to actually remembering some of the night life this time! Anyway, has anyone brought minor children along of late? If so, are they ok with only a certified copy of birth certificate or is photo ID of some type required? Also, is Vallarta Adventures or the Water Park best deal for Swimming with Dolphins?

If you are from the U.S. kids under 18 only need a certified copy of their Birth Certificate, no photo ID needed.
