OK, will someone please give me some advice on how to handle the whole currency issue? I was going to use my credit card for most purchases, but just called Chase and found that they they do in fact add an additional 4% charge to every transaction. So, should I:

1- Just use US cash. Looks like USD is taken everywhere, but this may not give the best rates?
2- Convert some $ to pesos?
3-Take a little bit of cash and t\\ravelers checks?
4-Take a little bit of cash and hit the ATMs? I have Bank of America. How are the ATM fees over there?

Any advice appreciated. We go to Mexico often as we live in San Diego, but we just go to Baja where everyone uses US dollars.
