how may bottles?

been reading all the threads and cant seem to get a consensus ... just how much of the golden liquid can I bring back to the US duty free .... ???

One liter per person. that is of age. and one carton cigarettes per adult, and they do ask most of the time

If not mistaken.you can bring back 2 liters per person ( to US)

I like the two liter response but fear the 1 liter is correct ..... see, still no concensus!

Just returned in January - was a lot of passing the bottle -you are allowed one bottle each - therefore IF you buy two like some of our friends - hopefully you will have friends along to take one or so from you to help you our - OR you will be leaving it there! Have fun!

In Mexico they tell you two bottles are allowed. But after buying two bottles one time, the Customs Official asked me if we had any booze. I told him we had two bottles each. He said I was only allowed one but let me through anyway. He said the Mexicans are always telling the Americans they can have two bottles so they can make the sale.

Stormin....thats xactly what our tour guide told us ( 2 liters each )
