Higher ATM Fees (Canadian Content)

I noticed this posted in my CIBC this morn . :x CIBC soon - no doubt others to follow .

Effective April 1/2007 . Withdrawals at machines outside Canada and the US ( Plus or Visa networks) will change from $3 to $5 CDN for each withdrawal .

I realize we all have different bank plans but service fees are always climbing . Maximize your withdrawal in PV because every transaction is soon to cost $5 . Jack Layton has a very good argument against these fees.

I read that at my bank as well but fortunately if you have a Scotaibank account (and I do :D ) there are no international fees for using the ATM in PV at Scotiabank, Banamex, Serafin. Also, no fees for using a Bank of America in the US.
