Good Idea Moving the Web Cam Over towards the ocean.... Just wanted to say that smart idea!

I love the new view on the CAM. I also look at it many times a day, as well as update the rest of the staff I work with as to what is going on and especially what the weather is currently in PV. I think they are sick of PV but it made an impression on me that will last a lifetime! I will go back.

I look at the webcam several times a day. Im glad to know that I am not the only one doing this!! My boyfriend thinks its weird that i look at it so often, I just wish that it was a streaming image webcam.

It seems that the view changes now and then, probably due to cleaning. A few weeks ago it was very blurred and then cleaned off but view was more to the right and the beach. If you right click on the image and change \"quality\" to \"low\", it is actually BETTER, so must be reversed. You can also \"zoom in\" more than once and really get close ups, albeit not very sharp. We also notice that a pelican perches right next to the cam now and then, mostly early in the day.

That explains the \"spot\" awhile ago. We vote for the view you have now. Just enough of town, but can see the waves and mountains in background better than before. Thanks Mogens!

Mogens I prefer the Malecon view.

I like where it is at now with more of a view of the beach. Just my 2 cents.

I agree that the Malacon is a huge deal and wonderful when visiting but the CAM really does not get close enough to see the any detail. I think that the view with the ocean is the best!!! Every now and then you might see a parasail in the background and other things happening on the water.

Another vote for the beach and ocean view.

Already voted for just as it is, but hope if \"beach,ocean\" view is the final view that it includes as much of malecon as it does now. Fun to see some of the people and cars. Hope not just beach and water.

I really like both. I like to watch the malecon now and then but I also like to see the ocean and the waves going back and forth. If you can move it from time to time why not continue to do so? If I have to pick, I would say the malecon because I really like seeing the buildings and the people on the street.

Is there a way to view the picture full screen, or at least make it bigger. I have the same problem with the maps. They are not big enough.

Mogens, can you swing the cam toward the sunsets every night? You have the \"power\". Actually you can see the bright windows on some buildings at sunset.

The map reply was intended for Pat. I can try to move the cam over in the later afternoon, you must understand I work a lot and sometimes take off before that time of day. If someone has a link to some resource that can tell me the exact sunset time in Vallarta, that would help a lot so I can determine the time I need to move the cam over if I am here.

Mogens, I was just pulling your leg. But it might be neat to see a sunset now and then.
I use Weather Underground for good info, as I think your host site dows. Sunset tomorrow is at 7:09 pm.

Now, here is a little hint.
right click anywhere on the webcam image that you want to see close up, choose zoom in, and presto !
click again in a new part of the image, right click, choose zoom in and again another close up of what you want to see!

Thanks for the tip about viewing the maps to get a full screen view. I like that. I understand about the bandwidth on the picture for the webcam. Thanks again.

More of the beach and surf would be nice... people on malecon good, but fun to watch tides and see beach activities, especially when it is snowing here!

MOST EXCELLENT SUNSET TONIGHT MOGENS! You are so nice to move views around. You should enter your cam with http://www.earthcam.com/ so you have more traffic directed to your site (good for promoting your other services, eh?). Rught now they only list one at Club Regina at the Westin Regina Resort , but it is not there anymore. Also http://camcentral.com/ has some good listings. Just a suggestion.
