FunJet The Pits or Not

Can anyone tell me if they have taken a Funjet vacation company. I have heard both good and bad about them. Any good vacation companies out there or should I book the air and resort myself?

I have used Funjet for the last 8 years. I never had any major problems with them. The reps in Mexico are quite helpful.

Charter or Scheduled air... not matter what, there will be problems... We have flown America West (aka America Worse) twice.. and both times out of Des Moines to Phoenix to Puerto Vallarta we have had problems... i just think since 9/11 and all the new rules and regulations that have been put in place... the consumer is going to suffer... but on the other hand we have flown charters with Apple Vacation, MLT Vacations, FunJet... we have flown from Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago and St Louis... we have had both good and bad experiences coming and going... the only thing we have against charters now is no seat assignments... first come first served... run thru cattle lines.. herded down the line... that is why we switched to Scheduled air... granted we will most likely never fly out of DSM again... but we are like 3.5 hrs to KC, 2.5 hrs to Omaha, 3.5 hrs MPLS (and DSM is 30 minues from our door step) so there will be a lot of changes in our flight patterns that is for sure...

From St.Louis it is only 3.5 hours. In a charter, I can handle that time frame. Also, Funjet runs price specials, one of the reasons we get to take the three Mexican trips a year.
