I am leaving for P.V. on the 20th of June and have been there many times before. It *is* the \"rainy\" season, but what that basically means is that normally, in the late afternoon or evening, or sometimes at night, you will have about 2 hours of heavy rain and the chance to sit with a cold drink in your hand (as it is *still* quite warm) And enjoy a BEAUTIFUL lightning show. One of my favorite memories from puerto vallarta was when I stayed at La Jolla de Mismaloya with my sister. We got back to our hotel very late one night and had the priviledge to witness one of these downbursts. We sat on our terrace and drank wine while marvelling at the beauty of it all. Beleive me, the rain will not in any way \"dampen\" your fun!!!
