Dealing with peddlers and/or Timeshare idiots?

I give them a broad smile and then say pleasantly: \"Free is not good enough, thank you.\" and keep walking.

Also beware nicely dressed strangers who try to help you in the supermarket or pretend they are the host in a restaurant. If you just say that you own a condo in PV and that this is your tenth visit (at the airport) or that you live here, they are likely to move on with no fuss.

We are ghere in PV right now and got hounded only twice. Once at Walmart and the other in the Marina. both times I was offered $ 200 U.S. but I said that I would do it if they put it in writing it was only for two hours. If it went longer I wanted $ 500 U.S.. both salesmen then said NO, which means there offer of a two hour pitch was a lie.

NO it only takes 2 hours if your buy!

If you take a pass, then it is up to YOUR persuasive abilities how long it takes you to get the spiff. Best is to say you have an appointment and MUST leave.

You can do better than 200.00...if you hold out for more (as a couple only), it should be no problem.

(Jeez...did I say that out loud?)

And broud smile and a pleasant \"no thank you\", to the peddlers will suffice, and they usually move right along. as for the time share sharks, tell them you have two at the Mayan Palace and one at Paradise Village for sale and see what happens. Tell them you just bought a beautiful condo in the marina area and go from there....
