As I mentioned on a previous post, I will be bringing down the mechanism for a Murphy Bed in September. This is not something I am bringing in for tourist purposes, so what happens if I get the red light at Customs. Am I better off shipping it down there, and if so what are my best options, ie. Fed Ex, UPS.

Re:Customs
If one can check a surf board you should be able to check your box, as long as the weight is allowable.

Sent you an email!
I was just going to post exactly what Clinta74 wrote!
Call your airlines and see if they will take it. I know some would consider it cargo, and many airlines no longer fly \"cargo\" since Jan. 2004.
Can you paper mache it to look like a surf board?:)
