Coming to PV june 10th....Qualton club ?

woo hoo sunshine. was worried it was going to rain for two weeks....even though of cancelling the holiday and trying somewhere else :(

Keep in mind that Puerto Vallarta is in the tropics, so the tropical warm rain is much needed. It usually rains at night and can POUR. We get quite the light-show too with intense thunderstorms. It´s sunny and hot in the daytime, so don´t worry, you will get a tan and have a blast here. As mentioned, it does become very humid after the rain. Venture out in the rain and walk around the town, it feels wonderful.

seem to be obsessed with the earthcam on top of the cheeseburger place.....get in from work and check the view before i get a coffee and check my mail, how serious is that?!!!!!!

Hola. I don´t know much about the Qualton except that it´s known to be a very good place to stay. The spa is excellent, l do know that. Enjoy your stay. All the hotels/resorts here are fantastic.

one other thing my good lady wants to know if theres any clothing tips? what should she pack....i guess the sweaters and wooly socks dont need to come?

I know were a pain but this is our first time to mexico and the rainy season bit did really throw us for a moment there.

I may just take you up on that drink Bully. Yes, leave the woolies at home. Pack the summer garb. Lighter the better. Temperatures in the middle of the night don´t drop below 20C. Other than shorts, tank tops, bikini, sleeveless dresses, sandles, she won´t need much else. You can pick up some great clothes here too that´s inexpensive. Beach vendors are your best bet for price, especially at the end of the day. Remember as with all vacations, pack less and bring more money! Catch busses instead of taxes, get out and explore the town, you´ll be very safe. Remember the eclipse on the day you arrive.

I see from the web cam the weather seems great at the moment, was suprised this morning to see the palms have lights around the base...Ann has told me to stop looking on the net or there will be nothing new to see when we arrive....I cant help myself thats what the web was invented for isnt it....information

oh well better go mow the lawns ready for remowing when I get back ....cant wait (not)

You are funny. Yes, phone me after a few days or a while. Get adjusted to things first like the weather. It can make you feel a little lazy if you´re not used to it. It hasn´t rained yet, but we need it badly. My allergies are killing me with all the dust! Imagine, no rain since last October.

You are a funny one. Yes, just up the M5, l used to work around there.
Phone or e-mail me ( there´s dozens of internet cafes around town) when you´re settled in. It takes a while to adjust to the heat and can make you feel lazy. No rain yet. It´s been 8 months now, we need it. My allergies are killing me with all the dust. I bet you´ve never heard an English woman complain at having NO rain! :) You´ll love it here. Any chance of bringing a couple of Galaxy bars down with you? Don´t worry if you can´t. Bring your sunglasses too.

Hola again Bully, sorry about the double message, my computer froze but must have posted without me knowing. (?) Anyway, l was going to mention the flight from LGW. It´s a killer! The British carrier, Air 2000 really packs the Brits in like cattle. It´s a very uncomfortable and long flight. I took it a few years back to visit family. I´ve never had such an uncomfortable flight, 13 hours l believe it was. I´ll never go with them again. One thing you should know is take drinks with you, ie, water, juice etc. to drink on the flight. They charge for everything even soft drinks & water. Get to the airport early enough to be able to sit together. I guess these package deals have to jam people on the plane to make the prices better, but for such a long flight?
We´ll meet up for a drink and i´ll take you guys for a drive to a great place. It´s a surprise. You´ll LOVE it.

we are staying in a hotel the night before so I dont have to get up too early the next day...not looking forward to the flight , dont mind flying but hope the films are good......or ill have to try to sleep as much of it away as poss.
Judi thanks for the warning ...but it sounds and looks like it will be worth a few hours dicomfort....
will do on the galaxy front but dont blame me if they are mush by the time you get em!!!!!!!!!
oh well only 3 working days to go......

Whooo hoooo! Galaxy! ! ! I really owe you. Nothing like English chocolate. That´s what l miss most about not, living there anymore. The films on that flight are usually a bit old and family oriented, you may get lucky. I think there´s three movies in flight, a few comedy shows too to fill in the time. The rain here is refreshing and warm, even it it pours, which i´m sure it will while you´re here. The best time of year to come (weatherwise) is from Nov. - April. Very hot, sunny, no rain and low humidity. Nothing like eating Xmas dinner in your bikini. I think the check in at LGW airport is about 6:15 am, you´ll find many people just sleep overnight in the airport as the hotels around there are dear. I loved the show at Buckingham Palace last night, what a bevvy of stars on stage. Cliff Richards looks the same as when he was with The Shadows for God´s sake! Anyway, talk to you soon. We have a pile of friends & family coming to PV from Canada & the States in the next month to visit, but will get together with you for sure. Judi X

Dude, I thought I was the only one viewing that cam. My count down is 9 days and counting.

beat you dude 4 looooooooooong days and counting.......as long as its sunny when we get there thats all i ask.....lol

I know this week is a short week with the jubilee and everything but still feels like a monday to me :(

Hi guys: How do l get to see this cam? I didn´t know there was such a thing, good idea though. Can l get to it on this site? Bully, we´ve had a couple of sprinkles of rain, nothing to speak of, but the forcast is for rain on Friday or Saturday. I was walking on the beach last night and noticed the Ocean is becoming a yucky brown, so there must be some run off from the rivers.

Tell Ann the surprise doesn´t include sharks of any kind. It´s a drive to a great place.
I´m a writer nowadays, finished my first novel, should be working on my second when l´m not mucking about on here. I´m no JK Rowling not even published yet. Don´t forget to tell all about this cam. I´m really curious now. If l stand in front of it and jump up and down waving my arms like an idiot, will you be able to see me? Adios

I must me a lot older than you. lol. Just a few sprinkles but no real rain yet. I can hear thunder as l type this though, it´s 3:00 pm my time Frid. 9:00pm your time l think. Maybe tonight.
