Christmas in PV

Hello all,

I will be travelling to PV for my honeymoon this christmas, dec 20-27. Are most things open on christmas day? Is it best to make reservations for a restaurant ahead of time?

Christmas was a blast last year! Christmas eve is when all the celebrating occurs. (Christmas day is family time) I was at Andeles in Old town and Santa came by in a volkswagon convertible and the streets were blocked off so the kids can hit pinyatas (s?) ...so much fun. Christmas was not as commercialized as it is at home, thank goodness.
