Cell phones

Leaving for PV in a few days. Will be staying at the Golden Crown Paradise. I am wondering if anyone else has taken a cell phone with them to call the U.S. I have Verizon Wireless and they have activated my international plan. Has anyone else used Verizon while down there? If so was it expensive to place a call? Any information will be wonderful.

Just got back from PV. We have verizon wireless and had no problem with our phones. Called home several times, crystal clear. Our calls were .69 a minute. Text messages were .25 per text. Not bad for international calling! Have a good trip! Enjoy!
