Canadian/Peso

There is a small group of us girls going down to pv. We are all first timers staying at sun getaway for 7 days. I was just curious how much spending money I should bring? I will be exchanging my money from CAD. I do want to go on some excursions and that kind of stuff.
Will $1000.00 canadian be sufficient?

A group of 4 Canadian guys will be at the Sungetaway April 12-19th. We were there last year and brought about $500 USD and that was plenty. The food was good enough at the resort to not have to eat out that much.

We were able to go out everynight and do a boat cruise with what we brought. I think most of us are bringing the same amount this year.
