Bugs

Never seen one by the beach because of the constant breezes. Different in the jungle. Just in case bring some DEET or sunscreen with bug repellent.

apparently the mosquitos do not like the taste of alcohol. so i believe chuck has the answer. no blood in his system, just gin and tequilla. lol

the only bugs that I worried about were the timeshare ppl.

I never noticed any bugs when we were there in July/Aug

how silly of me chuck. i think the alcohol actually protects you from the ultraviolet rays too. no sun burns for chuck.

$$$ bug spray and tanning lotion in 1. who knew chucks drinking could be bottled up and sold. lol

My wife has had breast cancer surgery along with lymph node removal in her left arm. Mesquito bites could cause a BIG problem since her immune system is almost non-existant. She has tried a little electronic devise, about 2 inches long that emits a very high pitch sound that repels not only mesquitos but also flys. It runs off a \"AA\" battery and really seems to work. We got them, a pack of 3, at Harbor Freight.

I guarantee you there are mosquitos in July and they are near the water. We got eaten alive twice last July at resturants in the Marina. From then on we used the skin-so-soft and no problems. Trust me, I own a boat down there and they are around the water. The breeze has nothing to do with it.
