I will be visiting puerto vallarta over Christmas and New Years and was wondering a couple things 1st how much should I be budgeting per day to be comfortable and @nd where would be a good place that is gay friendly for 5 of us for new years eve and christmas dinner

budget is impossible to predict. you could get by on $30USD per day or could easily spend $200+... just depends where you hang out, how much you drink, the kinds of restaurants you go to, shopping, excursions and activities, etc.
