Re:Being a pedestrian in Mexico
The traffic is a LOT better than just 3-4 years ago. I can remember about 8 years ago being on a bus that was racing, two other buses, three abreast just north of the Malicon. Several problems that I have seen are
1. Europeans that ONLY look right and Americans that look Left before stepping off the curb.
2. Drunks.
3. The streets with the turn lanes.
The first time that I was in PV I was crossing a busy street at a \"crosswalk\" by the Las Glorias Plaza (going to Mr. Fish yum,yum). I crossed the first lane, a oneway going left to right. I stopped at the median looked for cars coming from the right and almost stepped infront of a bus coming AGAIN from the left. It ended up being the first lane was a turn lane and not a oneway. So the traffic was left, left, right, right! I still have problems with all the lights...
