Beach Safety

Night walkers
I learned many years ago that if I go out walking at night I always carry a flashlight. Just too difficult seeing cracked walks, holes & loose cobble stones. As far as the beach goes are you talking 8:00 in the evening (most likely OK) or midnight (a definite NO NO) Unfortunately the beachs late at night attract the more dangerous elements. Here in the San Fransisco Bay area I would never walk any of the beaches late at night & practice the same caution in Mexico.

It is wise to stay clear of the beaches very late at night... as stew stated, some of the more seedy characters come out at that time... but with the bright lights of the malecon, and all the wonderful clubs down town to have fun at, it is best to go downtown, hang out, and do some partying, and people watching at the same time... so much to do and so little time to get it all in... and we have been coming down for over 12 yrs now... and this february for 2 weeks... YAHOOOO....

have a great time...
