Anyone just returned - rates at Casa de Cambio?

sounds good to me, as long as it is close to 10:1 or better, i am a happy camper. I do remember back in 88 before they changed the currency and it was 1000:1 USD:MP go out for dinner for 4 and it was 125,000 pesos... you had to carry a suitcase of pesos whenever you went out... it was hilarious...

Actually Tom it hit over 3000 to a dollar meaning that for less than 400 USD you could be a millionaire in Mexico! LOL In 85 when it first went to about 2,500 there were Huge Bargains in food, lodging & souvenirs out in the country side where they were slow to adjust prices.

The Yahoo converter shows a chart of the years value......always seems to be high when I`m home, low when I`m there.........today is 10.679
