Anyone ever arrived to no luggage?

No, this is not a \"common\" experience. As a matter of fact, it rarely happens at all. Plus if it does you can always get a 3 pack of fresh undies, swim shorts and sandles from Walmart. Doh!

I have always flown a charter, so one plane, one destination.
The only time I ever worried about the luggage was when I was in the Navy and the fear of losing my uniforms was awful. Losing my beach gear would be no problem.
   Knock on wood :!:
leah8581...couple of trips ago one piece of luggage did not arrive with me...all essentials in carry on, so not a serious problem, but next a.m. taxi arrived at the hotel with missing luggage, intact...sonofob.
When I visited in late april my luggage did not make it . It was easily tracked down , and delivered to my hotel the next morning. Sure made going thru customs easy.
silly me , it was march not april ( dont even know what month Im in).
Leah, nice to see you on the forum. Enjoy your vacation, after finals you really need it. Where are you staying? Just curious.
I did that, and it said that the total of the dimensions cant be over 41 inches.. but that doesnt tell me the width or length..
Try this:

This site gives you airline specific dimension and weight allowances for carry-on as well as checked luggage.
Luggage Size
Carry On- 10\" high, 17\" wide, 24 \" long- I think that is the standard, at least with the airlines we travel with. Found out that American Tourister carry on lugggage gives the most space. We did buy \"featherlight luggage\" it actually does weigh alot less than \"regular luggage\" for check in purposes, and didd hold up real well on our recent trip to PV.
