Questions:
Are you staying All Inclusive?
Do you plan to take tours/excursions?
Do you plan to eat out?
Do you plan to shop?
Everyone spends different money each time they go. I assume you have a hotel already - and your not asking for that information also.

Yeah I will eat out some times/ we have a time share so some food and snacks may be purchased at a grocery store
no, not really a lot of shopping
But as far as taxi rides and food per day how much do you think that would be? Also discos and stuff like that yeah drinks and all

Well, drinks are about the same as here (USA), maybe a tad less, especially in some places. And you can get buckets of beer for a discount around town. Or, you can get fancy fruit and booze concoctions for around $7 served in a hollowed out pineapple. You know that would be a lot more up here. We got Taxis were $3, and I think the bus is $0.40. Food prices run the range – breakfast for $3 or seafood platter for two for $80. There are so many good restaurants in PV in all price ranges. If you go on a boat tour, it’ll be like $40-$60, but it’ll take all day and include food and drinks. It’s true that you can pretty much have a good time on any budget. I usually try to budget $100 a day, some days do wind up being less, others more. But, that’s my general travel budget no matter where I’m going!
Oh, this is what I paid on my last trip – October of 2003.
Have fun!

There are two places we went to last April and had a shrimp dinner for 99 pesos. One is in Old Town, called Mi Cocina on Carranza, and the other is Mauricios , a short bus ride toward Xtapa. Both are excellent meals and great value for their price.
