March 2005 we saw the pole show. It was pretty hair raising I can tell you. Better them than me. I think my head would explode. lol
We were there when Pope John Paul (Juan Pablo) passed away. They had a nice shrine with a nice picture and lots of flowers all around the seahorse statue right by the pole.
If you are going to see them do the pole thing, make sure you get a seat because it takes a long time for them to finally decend. I remember my neck killing me from looking up.
Adios,

another thing me and tyler enjoyed was watching the artists. One in particular was she used spray paint and objects and the pictures she made were amazing. There is a guy who comes to our town in the summer and does something similar he uses lids and caps and spray paint its really neat. he sits at our pier or park and does this.

we have one guy that comes to the resort, and paints ceramic tile with his little finger nail etc. it is awesome some of the things he does. this year i know there will be room in the luggage for some of his paintings to come home with us and hang in the new condo...

I LOVE to watch people too! I adore the local youngsters, so stinking precious with that dark hair and those eyes!!! Very well behaved too!
One other thing I love is the local vendors out with homemade goodies - fresh fruit in cups, corn on the cob, churros!!!!!!!!
