How many have stayed in Yelapa or taken the day trip to Yelapa...
Worth the money spent?

Fred and I went to Yelapa last year and this year I went with my friend who stayed with me for a week. Both times we went on the water taxi and it was just fine. I love the laid back atmosphere of Yelapa but I was disappointed to see that there are now parasailers and noisy bird like flying machines allowed here. When did that happen? They were not there last year. For me its the peace and quiet of Yelapa that makes it the attraction that it is, the noisy sporty stuff takes away from the charm. Just my opinion.

I went with friends many years ago and have no real desire to go back. I think I felt stranded since we were just left there on the beach for a couple of hours before our tour boat came back to pick us up. But it certainly was a pretty beach.
