weather June and July

I have read in previous postings that it thunder storms a lot during the month of July. Does it also thunder storm a lot about the second week in June? I realize that many people have said that the thunder storms are beautiful, but I have already seen many thunder storms living in Iowa.

I plan to be traveling to PV during June or July next summer. If my previous message sounded negative, I apologize. I was just wondering if there are a lot less thunder storms in the middle of June, compared the the middle of July?

June is good. I generally go in February, but couple of years ago, after a business trip to Mexico City, I took time out to have 5 days in PV in mid June. There was some rain and thunder, but it was limited to like one hour max. And I preferred June to February - fewer people, more Mexican tourists, and people have more time. Enjoy! :D
