Single malt scotch fans. Are there any out there?

I test myself on a regular basis and the old liver is doing fine. Even the triglycerides which normally will be elevated in some people who consume alcohol are on the low normal side. Good genetics, I guess. Besides, I have to think that Scotch whisky is healthy for you. How many gnarly old Scots have you seen. Plenty.

I love the thick, creamy, smokey, bitter drink that if it is available that is what I order. I used to frequent a Pub in STL that had over 150 beers on tap and Guinness Stout was the only thing I ordered. My dad who just turned 79 this week is also a hugh fan of Guinness.

I love watching guinness after its been poured and it sets up to the top.
what is the light malt called it starts with a k I think its really good as well.

My first taste of Laphroaig was a single drink sample brought back from Scotland by a X-ray tech friend of mine about 15 years ago. It came in a little barrel and when I opened it and had my first taste I was hooked. The flavor and aroma is too complex and intense for most people. I like to add a splash of seltzer and sip away, savoring the heavy peat, smoke, seaweed and salty flavors.
I save this scotch for drinking outside, here in MO, during the cool misty days of early spring and late fall.
