PV & Canto Del Sol - Here we come !!

Hi Marjie.
I enjoyed your photos of Canto del Sol. I am staying at Villas Vallarta/Canto del Sol for two weeks in January. I have heard so much about the Canto but not from anyone on the Villas. Do you know anything about the Villas? I certainly will be using the facilities at the Canto often. Hope you have an amazing trip.

thanks for the info. I have checked out their website many times. The pictures are lovely. I got such an amazing deal that at first I was concerned because I ,too, had not heard bout the Villas. I am anxiously awating my vacation. I took AI because of the amazing deal I found. I am travelling solo this time thought it would be a good way to go. I will definitly venture SouthSide evenings. I will post comments after I return.

I too was at Canto Del Sol this past March and enjoyed its new ownership, updates, and hard working staff members. This is my favorite hotel and beach “Plaza Las Glorias”, because of its numerous friendly vendors. I’m a picky eater and must say that the food was pretty darn good, especially the Italian restaurant.
I use to own time-share for 10 years at Villas Vallarta in the 90’s, and loved the location and the fact that we could use the surrounding hotel restaurants and pools, especially Canto del Sol’s, once then, the “Continental Plaza”.
I’m glad to hear that the two hotels are again in cahoots with each other. The Villas are a driveway away from Canto del Sol and located around numerous shops and restaurants...a very excellent location. It’s a short bus ride or a nice walk to downtown. I also liked the Villas because my studio unit had a kitchenette and was quieter, especially at night.
Going solo is a good way to go as well. That way you can come and go as you please, not to have to report in, and not have to make compromises with any one.
Where did you find your amazing deal? (I hope this is considered informational, rather than an advertisement).
