New to PV

Help!
I have never been to PV and plan on going in Oct. I would like to stay in \"old\" PV in a clean but not necessarily pretentions Hotel. As I am travelling alone, I would like somewhere nice but reasonable and preferably all inclusive as I have a $1000.00 travel vouchure I would like to use. (or close to). I want beach front with easy access to some entertainment and shopping (browsing).

Thanks Sylvia, i have heard some of those things as well about the Buenaventura... When we were in Matzalan one year, we had to sign for all our drinks, and all our food, etc.. it got to be a pain as well... but that was because some people were time share and had to pay as they went, unless other arangements were made. When we checked out, our bar tabs were three times as big as our food tabs... YIKES... oh well...

Hopefully they will find a place that will meet up with their expectations and what they are looking for....
