Need to know where to stay in PV

Hi there, this is new for me, so here I go, I am from British Columbia and will be going to PV on August 16-23, there will be me and my Boyfriend and my Son who is 14 years old, would love to get some advice on a Hotel that will make my 14 year son Happy and also Me and my Boyfriend, any advice would be appreciated.

If you are looking for an all-inclusive place, check out Dreams (southside, not too far from downtown by taxi, most expensive of them all but real nice), Fiesta Americana (old hotel zone, not too isolated either, 4.5 star), Melia (in the marina area - getting farther out but still somewhat close, maybe a 4 star), or in Nuevo Vallarta, the Marival (about a 4-4.5 star) or Decameron Royal (the cheapest of all, but pretty nice, on a great beach, within 15 min walking distance of Bucerias but a long taxi ride from downtown, 3.5 star about).
