The email I sent bounced, so here goes...happy birthday Lorrie, may it be a great one and only one of many many more.
Re:Mrs Crown's Birthday
Happy Birthday Lorrie ! My Laurie has her bday this month also - she also loves PV. Even though you spell your name funny ;) I would say Lauries (Lorries ) rule the month of August ! :)
Re:Mrs Crown's Birthday
Tom & Lorrie,

So tell us.....Lorrie....did Tom treat you to something nice for your birthday? Thought I would check up and see if he surprised you with a little ole trip to PV? Well what ever you did I am sure it was done up nicely.

Cheers,
Nick
Re:Mrs Crown's Birthday
Happy belated birthday Lorrie. Hope you had a wonderful day and my birthday wish for you is \"I wish you everything you wish for yourself\" Perhaps we will get a chance to meet in person when we go down to PV again in Feb/March. Take care. Joyce

Happy Belated B-day.

P.s. The Blue Shrimp is such a great resteraunt. I love the atmosphere and the bathrooms are worth going to see alone. Thats sounds really weird but its true.

Have a great anniversary! Thanks again for you info about Nuevo Vallarta. This trip we are taking September 15th-19th is a surprise trip for my husband, our ten-year anniversary is September 9th. I am sure he will be quite surprised with his gift this year

Have Fun The Country Club Plaza in KC is still a favorite of mine. For years I would stay at the Alameda Plaza Hotel for both business & pleasure. It was a wonderful place with a great staff. It was sold about 10 years ago to one of the high end chains which I do not recall. Still a marvelous area. My son lives just over the Kansas line so I no longer stay in a hotel there.

Thanks Stew... we will have a great time... we just love going down there shopping, hanging out, dining out... we plan on going to a couple of the clubs downtown or at the Plaza area. It is going to be so relaxing as well. There is just so much to do down there as well.. we are still thinking about taking our bikes along as well... and hit parts of the KATY trail....

talk to you soon... have a great holiday weekend....
Re:Mrs Crown's Birthday
Glad you had great time. Question? There use to be a tiny Chinese café on a side street of the Plaza called \"Toy Café\". Excellent food but I am talking at least 10 years since I have been there. Is it still there? People out here on the \"Left Coast\" have no idea that such a great up to date (even though it was built in the 1920s era) area exists in KC.

Hey Stew, no we did not see a resturant with that name now. the only chinese i believe down on the plaza is PF Changs across from the Cheesecake Factory.... there are so many fine places to dine at down there... George Brett even opened up a new bar/resturante there as well... it is just so much fun to dress up like you have more money than you got sense... and the cars this year... OMG... tons of new convertibles this year down on the plaza.. scooping the loop with $3.10/gal gas... crazy but so much fun....
