I was very upset just returning from my favorite place in the whole world (PVR) to see this article. I am very afraid however, based on the history of the pond scum in Washington D.C., that with articles like this they will somehow turn this into some sort of scapegoat issue to waste more taxpayer dollars and raise public fears and ultimately hurting the tourist industry even more.

We feel safer in PV than we do in Vancouver. And we feel very safe there too.

ive also questioned the safety down in mexico. i grew up going to colotlan jalisco. town north of guadalajara 2 hrs..now i wanna travel to the family home. and continue to pvr.. the town is off of hiway 23 . mom had recently mentioned that a hotel owner was kidnapped eventually murdered due to ransom not met..my uncle small buisness owner (of fabrication) in colotlan has been approached verbally in a strong arm manor. He is safe to this day..
