How do you Book a trip??

When you plan a vacation to Puerto Vallarta and book a trip do you book through a travel agent :?: book on your own for a flight or do you book on line for a pkg deal :?:
First trip booked with a travel company. Second trip won a trip and went with the Travel company who sponsored the trip. This trip I booked on line with sell off vacations. An A1 trip for less than it would be for just a Hotel in Canada if one were pricing by the day. I have never booked on line before and am really happy with the results. The lady at Sears that heard about this trip and went home to book we will look for you at the Airport. :)

Last year I met a lady who booked on line for the De Cameron . 2 weeks at an A1 for
$799.00 Canadian. Can you beat that. That is a last min. booking. First week the resort did not put out as much bacon and eggs :x on the menu. Second week lots of bacon and eggs. :D I was there her second week. :D

The first 3 times we went thru Sun-Trips and got very reasonable packages, but they only fly out of Oakland Ca. and Denver Colorado. Next Sunday we are leaving on a trip that we booked online thru Expedia. We will let everyone know how it goes. The drawback this time is that we do not have a direct flight, we switch planes in Phoenix. But the positive is that we do not have to drive 8 hours to get to Oakland. :D

Have booked online for the last couple of years. Sometimes packages and sometimes everything seperate. Just depends on where I can get the best deal. Usually the best deal though is to do the air and hotel seperate, if you are not looking for AI.

We are lucky that we live in Toronto so there are many options and deals are easier to find . We book through a discount travel agency. Just a warning when booking in Ontario make sure the agency - online or brick and mortar has TICO certification. That way if anything bad happens, travel company folding , airline going bust etc you are going to get a refund.

We live in St. Louis and are lucky to be served by Funjet, Apple and Worryfree vacations. With so many package dealers we usually get pretty good deals. I check their web sites and then contact my travel agent and book thru her. She takes care of everything including upgrades if available, for a small fee $25, I think.

I will be in PV in 2 weeks and I booked my trip in july I think it was. After looking online and at travel agancies I found that Sun Holidays ( now called Sell Off) had the best price for what I was looking for. So I ended up going through them. But I notice that online there are some good deals. I think it all depends what you want and when.
