Can you take a sealed First Aide Kit into Mexico? Or at least aspirin, peroxide and so forth?

Sure you can . Worse thing that could happen is they ask you to open it for inspection . I know its good to be prepared but PV has many excellent pharmacies and pretty much anything you needed can be easily purchased . :)
