Chico, interesting topic seeing as how I had a birthday yesterday. This morning at work I put a pot of coffee on to brew and came back a few minutes later only to see clear water coming out of the filter basket...I forgot to put coffee into the filter! Just imagine the \"old lady\" jokes I had to endure all morning.

A bit of a twist on the \"clear coffee\". I think it was last weekend I carefully prepared the coffeemaker and pushed the start button. When I went back to pour a cup the carafe was empty, I had forgotten to put water in the machine.
