Calgary is experiencing many gang related problems.
Drugs are at the centre of the problems...


Do you think legalization and taxation of Marijuana would help solve the problem ... (legalize prostitution also )
Would it help get rid of gangs that are getting rich ...would it help stop the killings... :?

I often wonder if the Dutch approach to drugs is a good policy... :? :?:

Here in California, with the legalization of medical marijuana has come a whole new wave of crimes. Sick people being robbed of their pot. The ban on marijuana creates a lot more problems than it solves. legalize and regulate it, like alcohol and tobacco, and many problems would be solved. Of course, the hard core gang people would still have their trade in harder drugs, meth, cocaine, crack etc. But really, marijuana has no place being categorized with those drugs. A little perspective is need to reform the drug laws. :soapbox:

Marijuana laws are ridiculous and outdated . If its good enough for Michael Phelps ...... :)
