Back from the East side.

Just got back from the Mayan suncoast. Hurricane update, there was a lot of dammage to jungle and billboards along the coast hiway. Most resorts seem to be in good shape. The Grand Palladium 90 min south of Cancun was as if they had had a moderate midwest storm blow through. Some downed trees but nothing more. All palapas were in good condition as was the beach. We did not go to Cozumel, because according to locals there is still a great deal of dammage there. :(

Thanks for the update, and welcome back!! I too have heard that Cozumel was still in tough shape, but good to hear that things are coming back together out east!
