Oh, how devastating and frightening for you and and all who love your friend Ryan. Im so sorry for this trial you are all going through. Definatly, prayers on the way!!!
You might try calling and asking for a Dr/Nurse to speak with you and explain the levels and what they mean. Most are more than willing to help out and explain things to you so you dont have confusion added to your fear and grief.
I hope and pray his outcome will be positive.

That some wild news there Darryl. I hope that they can get Ryan under control as he heals... it is a scary thought that they have to keep him in a coma for the body to heal itself, and for his own good it looks like too... glad to hear that pat is doing better... good idea on the fund raiser.. best of luck with that project...

winterpegman; has the media in wpg picked up on this story yet because they could be usefull in getting the fundraiser advertised and mabey give some great donations for the silent auction expecially when its two local men. Even mabey mayor katz will get involved you have probally thought of this allready but if not just a thought.

I agree with Michelle about the media.Winnipegers are great for coming together to help out in a time of need.Our thoughts & prayers are with Ryan & his family.

Hey there Darryl, that is good news that the boys are home... but WOW that is something on all the medical costs... Lorrie and I wish you only the best of luck working this fundraiser for those young men and their families. I too hope that you get the $34k right off the bat, would really and truly hate to see mom and dad work so hard and lose it so fast because of this.

Good to hear that your friend is doing better, it sounds like he will be coming around soon. The new picture that you put up scares me though.

Glad Ryan is making progress, however slowly. he has the added blessing of having a good friend in you, that cares.

All of your friends here will stand by and await all your progress reports, with our continued prayers.

Sounds like it will be a slow recovery at this point. Everyone will need a lot of patience and as much moral support as possible. Hopefully the memory of his wife will return shortly, that should make her feel a lot better as well. I will continue to remember the family and you in my thoughts and prayers.
