It has been 2 years since we went to PV. We had went 4 years in a row and decided last spring to do the drive from Michigan to Florida (Tampa area). What a mistake. The drive was 24 hours. Our first 3 days in FL. we wore hoodies because it was cold and rainy. I kept thinking about PV and how we never have a weather problem there. I swore too never do the Florida drive again. This spring we are hoping to return to PV. I am in the midst of doing the searching for a place now.
We have stayed at Playa Del Sol, Las Palmas (AI), Villa Del Palmar, and last time the Canto Del Sol (AI). We thought they all had their good points and would stay at any of them again. We are going to take our 2 boys (10 & 17) this time if we go. We took them with us to VDP when we went and they loved it.
Bottomline here is.........PV here we come again!!!!! Foget Florida and the blue hairs. Funny, in Florida there is Blue Hairs and in PV there is Blue Chairs (lol).
