Re:Time Shares
Agreed. I know several people who own timeshares and are very happy with their purchases. Many of the timeshare properties around Puerto Vallarta are excellent and are fully-loaded with all the amenities. However, I think that the main complaint that people have is the overly aggressive sales practices at SOME of the properties. In the main tourist areas, it seems there is a salesman ready to jump out and greet you at every street corner. Going to an actual sales presentation can be a very high-pressure experience if you are \"just looking\" or just wanting to get the free gift that was offered. But, if you are in the \"buying\" frame of mind, you could really enjoy the presentation...just make sure that all promises are put officially in writing :)
