Puerto Vallarta Cruise Ship Terminal and Harbor Area
A magnificent way to arrive in Puerto Vallarta is by sea. Several cruise lines make Puerto Vallarta a “Port O’ Call”, docking at the Terminal Maritimo (Harbor Terminal) in the Marina Area, which has had to be modified to receive more than one cruise ship at a time.
Puerto Vallarta harbor is exclusively for nautical tourism and has three docking positions for vessels up to 311 meters (964 ft) long (actually 2 for ships up to 311 meters long and 1 for 294 meters).
It provides many services for both ships and passengers, including tour operators, tour guides, taxi cabs, money exchange, ATM, Wi-Fi, coffee shops, restaurants, shops, and souvenir stores.
During 2018 the harbor received a total of 137 cruise ships and a total of 328,800 passengers. There were a total of 30,726 tourist boat trips carrying a total of 629 thousand passengers in 2018.

For 2019 API has 170 confirmed cruise ship arrivals, these include the new Magellan cruiser that will travel to Acapulco and other Mexican beach destinations. Norwegian Cruises will include the Bliss cruise ship that carries 4500 passengers. Carnival Cruises will add the Panorama cruise ship as a new ship on trips through Puerto Vallarta.
The PV Cruise Port offers various tourist services that include, taxis, rental cars, currency exchange options, a handicraft market, a few eating options, phones, a cybercafé, plus ticket sale for day cruise options that take you on great tours around the Bay, all in a secure and efficient environment.
The harbor was built with a berth for cruisers and a terminal for ferries, by 1987 the ferry to Los Cabos stopped offering the service. In 1966 Dock 2 was built for cruisers measuring up to 250 m and in 2007 the construction of two new docks was finished that included removing old Dock 2. Now there are three berth positions that can service 3 full-size cruise ships simultaneously with the highest standards.
Some of the lines arriving are Carnival, Celebrity Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Disney Cruise Line, Holland America Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean.

I don’t see much info regarding day cruises. Most everything is about large cruise lines.
Day cruises are considered tours. You can find that information in https://www.puertovallarta.net/puertovallarta-tours/
If you have specific questions you can send us an email, a Whatsapp message or call us if you prefer. Greetings :-)
What terminal will Royal Caribbean lands Oct 23?
They all arrive at Puerto Vallarta’s harbour area (the cruise terminal), known locally as API (Area Portuaria Integral). If your question is at what berth in the harbour, then you’ll have to contact the cruise company.
Greetings
